TERMS & CONDITIONS BALI MIDORI TRAVEL SERVICES

A. RATE & SERVICE CONDITIONS

• Rates are subject to change with prior notice, depending on national economic conditions.
• Chauffeured rates include entrance/retribution fees, parking fees, and toll charges.
• The service period begins once the chauffeur and vehicle arrive at the location agreed upon by the Renter and Bali Midori Travel Service.
• Any service extensions are subject to availability.
• Chauffeur service is available for up to 10 hours per day (non-cumulative). Additional hours will be charged at 10% of the daily rate per hour.
• A sleep-out charge applies if the chauffeur is required to stay overnight for out-of-town trips.
• These terms do not apply to special events or packages designed specifically by Bali Midori Transport.
• By confirming the booking, the renter agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

B. RESERVATIONS

• All reservations must be made at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance.
• For emergency bookings, reservations may be made via phone, but written confirmation is still required.
• Charges will apply based on the confirmed reservation details.
• All vehicle bookings are subject to availability.
• A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. The remaining balance must be paid by the start date of service. Please contact us for alternative arrangements.
• Daily charters, full-day bookings, or out-of-town trips may incur additional charges.

C. CANCELLATIONS

• More than 30 days before the service date: 10% cancellation fee applies.
• Within 7 days: 50% cancellation fee applies.
• Within 72 hours (3 days): No refund (non-refundable).
• Rescheduling is allowed with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice and is subject to a 15% rescheduling fee.
• Refunds are not provided, but floating deposits may be applied to future bookings within one year.

D. PAYMENT

• Payment must be made in advance via:
  • • Cash
    • Bank Transfer
• Online Credit Card Payment (Visa/MasterCard via payment gateway)
• All payments must be made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Payments in USD will be converted to IDR based on Bali Midori’s current exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
• All telegraphic transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
• Credit card payments incur a 3% surcharge (Visa/MasterCard only).
• USD bills must be clean, untorn, unmarked, uncreased, and printed in 2020 or later.
• Please send proof of payment (remittance slip) via email or WhatsApp.

E. PROHIBITED USES

When renting a car with a driver, the following are strictly prohibited:

• The renter may not operate or drive the vehicle.
• Transporting goods that exceed the vehicle’s weight capacity.
• Using the vehicle for illegal activities, demonstrations, or political campaigns.
• Transporting items with strong odors, chemicals, or hazardous materials (which require specially equipped vehicles).
• Any violations will be the sole responsibility of the renter.

F. LIABILITY

• If the vehicle becomes damaged or inoperable during the trip, Bali Midori will provide a replacement vehicle free of charge, subject to availability in operational areas.
• The replacement will be of a similar type/class and in good condition.
• If no replacement vehicle is available, compensation will be provided, as determined by Bali Midori’s office.
• Bali Midori is not responsible for lost or left-behind personal items. Renters are advised not to leave valuables in the vehicle or with the chauffeur.
• Bali Midori shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations due to war, regulatory changes, strikes, riots, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond its control.

G. SELF-DRIVE RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• To rent a car without a driver, the renter must provide:
• A passport photo
• A valid international driving license
• Hotel or villa address in Bali
• Active social media account (for verification)
• Proof of accommodation booking
• Return flight ticket
• Confirmation that the accommodation has secure parking and 24-hour security
• A signed rental agreement at the time of delivery
• Vehicles may not be taken outside the island of Bali under any circumstances. Any unauthorized use outside Bali will be considered a material breach of this agreement, and the renter will be fully responsible for all resulting costs, damages, and liabilities

Additional Guidelines:

• For breakdowns or emergencies, contact Bali Midori via WhatsApp/Phone at +62-811-392-2728 (24/7 support). Assistance is limited to Bali Midori’s operational area. Extra charges may apply outside service areas.
• Renters must:
  • • Operate the vehicle safely and legally
    • Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts
    • Avoid transporting illegal goods or pets (unless pre-approved)
    • Not sublet or allow unauthorized drivers
    • Refrain from smoking inside the vehicle (cleaning fee applies)
• Vehicles are delivered clean and operational. Renters must inspect the vehicle upon delivery and document any existing damage.
• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition. Cleaning charges may apply for poor hygiene upon return.

Other Important Notes:

• Fuel is not included.
• Sport cars are only permitted if access roads to the property are paved.
• Once delivered, the rental duration and price cannot be modified.
• A refundable security deposit (USD 200–1000) is required depending on the vehicle class. Refunds are issued within 3–7 business days if:
  • The car is returned on time and in good condition
  • No traffic violations are pending
  • No additional damage or fees apply
• Bali Midori does not provide insurance for self-drive rentals. In the event of an accident, theft, or damage, the renter is fully responsible for:
  • • All repair or replacement costs
    • Third-party claims
    • Lost rental income during repairs
    • Renters are encouraged to purchase third-party or travel insurance in advance.
• The renter is liable for all traffic fines, tolls, or penalties incurred during the rental period. Late-reported fines may be deducted from the deposit or invoiced directly. A processing fee of IDR 200,000 per violation may apply.

H. FORCE MAJEURE & JURISDICTION

• Bali Midori shall not be held liable for service disruption caused by:
  • • Natural disasters, earthquakes, floods
    • Government restrictions or regulatory changes
    • Wars, strikes, riots, terrorism
    • Pandemics, road closures, or any uncontrollable events
